Top 10 Actions
There’s no shortage of ways to make a difference — and no time to waste. Yes, it can feel overwhelming. But that’s no excuse to stand still. The time for action is now.
This is my ACTION LIST — a blueprint forged from over 35 years of boots-on-the-ground experience.
I’ve hiked and camped in nearly every U.S. National Park, explored countless National Monuments, BLM lands, state parks, and nature centers. I’ve planted over 150,000 trees, led major mountain expeditions, and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with nonprofits fighting to protect what matters. I’ve been a proud, long-time member of 1% for the Planet and helped create educational and inspirational materials for National Parks across the country through cooperating associations. I’ve written more than ten books and created thousands of inspirational gift items dedicated to nature, public lands, and the wild spaces that feed the human spirit.
This isn’t theory. It’s a life lived in action — and now, I’m sharing what I believe are the most powerful, practical steps we can take RIGHT NOW to protect, restore, and reconnect with our natural world.
